In 1978, Cathy opened Munchkin Wonderland after the birth of her first son, John. Second son Rob arrived in 1979, and her third son, Tom, in 1981.   Cathy collectively refers to them as "MY THREE SONS." These young men wanted her to keep their name (Weber) when she and their father  went different directions. Later, when Joe and Cathy married in 1992, she hyphenated her names to combine her sons' and loving husband.

In 1995, while still operating her full time child care center, Cathy dusted off a dream that had been tucked away in a closet for too many years. In the Fall of that year, she began public speaking.

In April of 1997, her grandson, Brady, was born. Adding a new little person to her life was a very easy task.

Cathy decided to close her daycare for 14 months,in 2001 -2002  during which time, her father and then mother passed away. Her permanent closing fo Munchkin Wonderland came in 2005 when the demand for speaking made it impossible to juggle both schedules.

Cathy is a published author in a collection entitled
Forks in the Road by Reminicse Books, featuring stories of life-changing events. In 2002 she authored Travels on the Yellow Brick Road. In 2003 she produced a self help aid for grieving families called Creating a Eulogy. Travels on the Yellow Brick Road II will be  published in the Fall of 2006
